Das Label NAVIGATOR wurde 1989 von Michael Haentjes und Mickie D gegründet. Diverse Veröffentlichungen unterschiedlichster Künstler und Musikgenres folgten. (siehe unten)

Nach längerer Pause und in Kooperation mit edel/ Kontor New Media wird das Label nun für neue Produktionen, aber auch für Wiederveröffentlichungen oder Aufnahmen bisher nicht veröffentlichter Tracks eine Plattform bieten.

Das erste Projekt dieser Art war die LP Mickie D's Unicorn, die 1979 als erste Veröffentlichung auf dem damals von Klaus Schulze gegründeten IC-Label erschienen war.

After a long break, and in cooperation with edel / Kontor New Media, the label will now offer a platform for new productions as well as for re-releases or recordings of previously unreleased tracks.

The first project of this kind was the LP Mickie D's Unicorn, which was in 1979 the first release on Klaus Schulze's then newly founded IC label.
